On April 9 & 11, I, along with many others, prepared “Manna Packs” consisting of vitamins, vegetables, soy, and rice. We worked on an “assembly line,” filling the dry ingredients, weighing, sealing, and packing the bags to be shipped all over the world to starving kids. This is a huge non-profit, Christian ministry that is (annually) hosted by Good Shepherd Lutheran at Queeny Park. I had never heard of it, but I saw an article in the West News Magazine.
