Supporting our Partners at River Roads Lutheran School

This year at Summer Blast, we want to truly "Follow the Light" when it comes to loving, serving, and praying for one another! One way we can do that is by collecting an offering to support a deserving non-profit. This year, we have chosen to support River Roads Lutheran School. River Roads provides fun, hands-on, and engaging opportunities for their students and families to learn about Jesus in the North St. Louis community.

Our goal is to raise $4,000 to provide new playground equipment for Pre-K through 8th-grade students. We believe that when kids learn to live generous lives by serving others and combine that desire to serve organizations in their community, the impact will always be greatest!

Why River Roads Lutheran School?

RRLS is a school where students are taught not only reading, writing, and arithmetic but also how to follow Jesus. The students also give back to their community by performing at the nearby nursing home and participating in their Wednesday Serve events.

River Road's vision statement says,

"RRLS will be a Beacon of Light grounded in the Baden area, serving the North St. Louis community, and providing opportunities for families to have a firm foundation in Jesus Christ. This is an ideal atmosphere to empower families to set high, Christian values and goals for their children's education and themselves. 'Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.' Matthew 5:16"

Follow the Light!

Your donations will provide the students at River Roads a fun and safe space to run and play at recess, a favorite part of their school day. Whether it's going down a new slide, swinging, or climbing on a new piece of equipment, this new play area will be a delight for students to enjoy for years to come. Your offerings this week can help make a difference to RRLS as they strive to be that Beacon of Light in the North St. Louis community.
